Is NIOXIN® safe to use during pregnancy or breast-feeding?
There are no known side effects that prevent expectant mothers from using NIOXIN® Scalp and Hair Care Systems to help maintain a healthy scalp environment and to help prevent textural changes through the post-natal period. NIOXIN® products are made with the natural ingredients and are not absorbed into the blood stream.
Note: Always consult with your doctor before using any product during pregnancy, when breastfeeding or undergoing any other medical treatments.

Is NIOXIN® absorbed into your blood stream?
Topically applied NIOXIN® products are formulated with the finest natural ingredients and are not absorbed into the blood stream. However, Recharging Complex®, a dietary supplement, is taken orally and is absorbed into the blood stream for optimum benefit similar to most vitamin supplements.

NIOXIN® Scalp and Hair Care Systems are formulated with natural botanicals and can be used on men women and children of all ages without any known side effects.

Can I take Recharging Complex® during Pregnancy?
Recharging Complex® taken orally like most dietary supplements are absorbed into the blood stream for optimum benefit. We recommend consulting your physician prior to taking Recharging Complex® or any other dietary supplement.

Can I use NIOXIN® while taking other medication?
You can generally use all NIOXIN® products when taking medication because the products contain natural ingredients and are not absorbed into the bloodstream. Can NIOXIN® be used during chemotherapy?
NIOXIN® can be used during chemotherapy. Hair loss (alopecia) is a common side effect of chemotherapy treatments. NIOXIN® products are SAFE for use during chemotherapy treatments and help promote a healthy scalp environment and natural hair growth.
